Back when I started streaming on Twitch, I decided in a wandering conversation with chat that my community was in fact a Legion of Airship pirates, which made sense at the time. Of course we were modeled after the best airship pirates, Captain Shakespeare’s crew from the movie Stardust. As a result when I became partnered I chose to use this gif as my sub alert, combined of course with the “Infernal Gallop” by Offenbach:
Fast forward a few years, and I made the commitment that I would make Captain Shakespeare’s costume when I reached 5,000 followers on twitch (the size of a Roman Legion).
After I making the costume, I chose to set up my own photoshoot, making use of both my very cool gold mirror, and recently acquired backdrop and photography supplies. I’m definitely still learning how to take self photos, but I had a lot of fun with set dressing!
