Little Witch Academia was a wonderful show, you probably know by now that I love stories about friendship as a means to overcome adversity. I thoroughly enjoyed how distinct each of the characters were, and I loved how the protagonists showed growth over the course of the anime, from Akko’s developing maturity and Diana’s acceptance of help, they characters didn’t remain static archetypes.

That being said, Diana was one of my favorites. At first I found her incredibly frustrating, clearly a bully and overly judgmental of Akko. But by the end I really enjoyed her progression, and appreciated that she became a kinder character (though I still wish she would have told off her friends). But as a smart and sassy character she was a natural choice for who I would cosplay.
From a cosplay perspective I also love the design of the uniforms (even if I think some of the skirts are way too short), a perfect blend of witch and school uniforms, plus super cute hats.
